Job summary

AbbVie Ireland in Connacht Westport is seeking an Operational Excellence Site Lead to shape the site strategy, governance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing, quality, supply chain and support functions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, or related discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required; Master Black Belt preferred.
• Minimum eight years’ experience in regulated manufacturing with management.
• Experience applying AI/digital tools to operational challenges.
• Direct people management experience at management level.

Responsibilities

• Lead site OpEx strategy, roadmap, and governance.
• Coach teams in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and deliver high-impact improvement initiatives.
• Deploy AI-enabled and digital solutions to improve decision-making.
• Partner with site leaders, regulators, vendors, and customers.
• Establish performance metrics, budgets, and accountability routines.
