Job summary

Vantive is offering an exciting Co-Op placement at our Castlebar, Co. Mayo manufacturing site for students studying Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics or related fields.

You will support Operational Excellence initiatives focused on OEE, data collection, and digital dashboards. Based on site, you will apply Lean principles, work with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience in Power BI, KPI reporting, and data analytics to drive improvements and productivity during

Qualifications

• Student studying Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Willing to learn and apply data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing site OEE dashboards.
• Supporting real-time production data collection and reporting.
• Developing Power BI dashboards and other performance-monitoring tools.
• Analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Categorising and analysing equipment downtime.
• Identifying performance losses and bottlenecks.
• Supporting root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Automating KPI reporting to reduce manual reporting.
• Supporting process mapping, standardisation and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Tracking project tasks and deliverables through automated systems.
• Presenting findings and recommendations to operational teams.
