Aer Soleir LLC. in Dublin seeks a recently graduated analyst to provide analytical support for our 350MW+ wind assets in Greece, using SCADA data, lightning detection and HSE SaaS, and bespoke analytics to drive insights.

You will collect, validate and analyse operational data, build dashboards in Power BI, and support KPI reporting and root-cause analysis, with opportunities to contribute across the wider business as the role matures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to operational assets data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Collect, validate, quality-assure, maintain and improve accessibility of operational data from wind assets in Greece.
  • Monitor asset performance using data analytics tools and dashboards to identify trends and issues.
  • Assist in preparing regular KPI reporting for internal stakeholders.
  • Investigate performance deviations and support root-cause analysis for turbine downtime and failures.
  • Coordinate snow clearance optimisation and ice fall mitigation strategies for HSE considerations.
  • Contribute to data management and analytics process improvements.

Job description

Location: Minimum 3-days per week in Dublin office

Term: 6-12 months fixed term

This role, reporting to the Head of Asset Management, but with opportunities to provide support across the wider operational business, provides an excellent opportunity for an analytically-minded recent graduate or young professional interested in a career in the Renewables industry.

The role will be primarily to provide analytical support to the asset management side of the business, looking after our 350MW+ of operational wind assets in Greece, by gaining an in-depth understanding and use of existing software platforms used (such as secondary SCADA, lightning detection and monitoring and HSE Access/Egress SaaS) as well as bespoke analytics to provide insight into operational challenges through data collection, analysis and reporting.

To commence the role will be on a fixed-term contract but, as business needs clarify, has good potential to become a permanent position in a dynamic and successful independent power producer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support to any part of the operational-side of the company – primarily in the appropriate collection, analysis, reporting of operational assets but also extended to procurement-support providing insight into market trends, spend analysis and more
  • Collect, validate, quality-assure, maintain and improve accessibility of operational data from our windfarm assets in Greece.
  • Monitor asset performance using data analytics tools and creating dashboards to identify trends, anomalies, and potential operational issues and support decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular reporting and tracking of key performance indicators for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in investigating performance deviations (e.g. power curve, or yaw misalignment) and support root cause analysis efforts on ad-hoc issues that arise, investigating turbine downtime and sub-component failures
  • Help co-ordinate snow clearance optimisation for maintenance crew access and ice fall mitigation strategies for HSE considerations
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance data management, reporting accuracy, and analytical capabilities.
  • Stay informed about renewable energy technologies, industry trends, and analytical best practices.
