Job summary

OXBO is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee the technical and commercial performance of its renewable energy assets. The role focuses on MV/HV systems, safe operations and strong stakeholder engagement across a growing European portfolio.

The candidate will manage O&M contracts, PPAs, and asset management services while driving budgeting, expenditure control and performance improvements. This position offers visibility and long-term career progression within a expanding energy platform.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in renewable energy, utilities, or energy infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of MV/HV electrical systems and operations.
• Experience coordinating HV/MV operational activities is desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness with exposure to service contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical and commercial performance of operational renewable energy assets.
• Oversee MV/HV electrical systems, ensuring safe operations and effective switching.
• Serve as the go-to contact for HV/MV operational matters and best practices across the portfolio.
• Oversee contracts including O&M agreements, PPAs, and asset management services.
• Manage relationships with service providers, grid operators and contractors.
• Support budgeting, OPEX management and performance improvement initiatives.
• Promote Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across all assets.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage the technical and commercial performance of operational renewable energy assets
• Provide oversight of MV/HV electrical systems, supporting safe operations, switching procedures and electrical system performance
• Act as a key point of contact for HV/MV operational matters, supporting best practice across the portfolio
• Oversee key contracts including O&M agreements, PPAs and asset management services
• Manage relationships with service providers, grid operators, contractors and other stakeholders
• Support budgeting, operational expenditure management and performance improvement initiatives
• Promote high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across all assets

What you'll bring:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering desirable, or a related Engineering, Science or technical discipline
• Technical and/or commercial experience within renewable energy, power generation, utilities or other energy infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of MV/HV electrical systems and associated operational procedures
• Previous experience managing, overseeing or coordinating HV/MV operational activities is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness with exposure to operational or service contracts
• Open to candidates from a more site-based background looking to move into Asset Management
