Job summary

Moog Ireland Ltd. is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our electronics manufacturing and design facility in Ringaskiddy, Cork. The role focuses on designing, monitoring and improving quality control systems to meet customer requirements and company standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams across engineering, program management and supply chain, ensuring on-site presence and occasional travel. A degree in engineering/science and Six Sigma certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Honours Bachelor Degree / Level 8 in engineering or science.
• Experience as a quality engineer in electronics manufacturing is an advantage.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certified.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN/AS9100, IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 is beneficial.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma and statistical methods knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement of Quality systems.
• Review customer requirements and ensure quality compliance.
• Lead and support APQP activities and PPAP documentation.
• Lead 8D investigations and communicate with customers.
• Monitor production yields and drive Lean/Six Sigma actions.
• Coordinate internal non-conformity reports and closures.
• Support internal and external QMS audits.
• Provide technical quality support to suppliers and production staff.
