Job summary

Designer Group in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Project Planner for energy infrastructure projects. The role is on site in Dublin with three to five years of planning experience in energy utilities and a strong background in Primavera P6.

You will manage schedules across design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, and support tendering and budgeting efforts while reporting weekly to the team and client.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, construction management, project management, quantity surveying or related subject.
• Three to five years in a planning role in energy, utilities or high voltage sectors.
• Experience in delay analysis and recovery programmes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule on substations, transmission and distribution, renewable energy or utility-scale projects.
• Build and maintain Primavera P6 programmes covering design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Track schedule performance, identify critical paths, constraints and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform schedule risk analyses, what-if scenarios and time impact assessments.
• Prepare baseline, recovery and revised programmes and conduct site visits to verify progress.
• Support tendering and pre-construction sequencing, contribute to budgets and earned value reporting.
