Job summary
NNIT in Limerick is seeking a Junior Install & Commissioning Systems Engineer to commission, install and support automation and control systems on site. You will work under guidance to meet project requirements and maintain compliant operations.
The role requires hands-on experience with Allen Bradley Logix 5000, PLC/HMI programming, and a basic understanding of validation processes in pharma or biotech environments. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience with Allen Bradley Control Systems and related PLC/HMI programming.
- Knowledge of validation for automated processes in pharma/medical devices is desirable.
- Background in assembly automation, robotics or complex machine control.
Responsibilities
- Commission, install and support automation systems on site in Limerick.
- Review SOPs, follow plant requirements and ensure compliant operations.
- Work with plant demand to deliver automation solutions and reduce costs.
- Assist in cyber security and risk-based controls related to automation.
- Support CAPA investigations and maintenance of MCC/MV equipment.
