Job summary

NNIT is seeking a Senior Smart Factory Engineering Consultant based in Limerick to design, program, simulate, test and start-up automation/control systems. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and OEMs to deliver optimal solutions in a vendor package capacity.

Ideal candidates will have a strong project management background, GMP experience, and exposure to leading cross-functional teams on complex challenges, with an agile mindset and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics/Automation/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to lead cross-functional teams on complex technical challenges.
• Strong automation solution design experience in a GMP environment.
• Agile mindset and ability to adapt to change.
• Vendor and internal stakeholder management experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, specification, programming, simulation, testing and start-up assistance for automation/control systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and OEMs to deliver optimum solutions in a vendor package capacity.
• Lead projects, manage internal/external resources, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
