Job summary

Manguard Plus is seeking a Safety Specialist Supervisor for a Dublin client facility. You will supervise the Safety Specialist team, ensuring high standards, punctuality, and professional client engagement while maintaining safety and security across day and night shifts.

You will work with onsite management to meet and exceed client expectations, oversee shift handovers, and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ security experience.
• IFPO CPO and CSSM qualifications are desirable.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a security, safety, facilities, or client-facing operational environment is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to prepare incident reports, handover notes, and operational updates to a professional standard.
• PC literate, with working knowledge of Google Docs, Excel, and other reporting systems.
• Skilled in people management, team coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Skilled in conflict resolution, de-escalation, and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Strong situational awareness and sound judgement.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with onsite management to ensure the team’s output meets client expectations.
• Oversee AM/PM Safety Specialist teams, ensuring consistency in service delivery and reporting.
• Review shift handover process and ensure information is communicated clearly and accurately.
• Quality check handover reports, incident reports, patrol records, and daily activity logs.
• Conduct team briefings and ensure familiarity with updates, client requirements, and procedures.
• Manage team schedules for breaks and patrols to ensure coverage.
• Monitor compliance with site rules, uniforms, and device usage.
• Escalate incidents promptly to onsite management according to procedures.
