Job summary

Latroupe is opening a brand-new Dublin property in Grand Canal Dock (~500 beds). We seek a Pre-opening Project Manager to lead the on-site operations opening from early November 2026 through January 2027, acting as the single link between the Dublin property and HQ in Madrid.

You will own the opening plan, coordinate suppliers, manage maintenance setup, oversee system roll-out, and train and recruit the opening team. A hands-on, results-driven leader is required.

Qualifications

• Two hotel/hostel openings in leadership roles.
• Strong project management with plans, owners, deadlines and escalation.
• Proven experience sourcing, negotiating and contracting suppliers and service providers.
• Hands-on operational background (front office, F&B or general management).
• Experience working with a remote HQ and with an owner or developer.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a strong plus.
• Available to be on site in Dublin from early November 2026 until end February 2027.
• Right to work in Ireland or able to invoice as a freelancer/company within the EU.

Responsibilities

• Own and run the operations opening plan with weekly milestones, owners, risks and go/no-go readiness.
• Source, negotiate and contract operational suppliers and service providers with HQ involvement.
• Set up building maintenance and service contracts (lifts, HVAC, fire safety, Legionella control).
• Coordinate building handover, OS&E delivery and contractors with the owner’s team and HQ.
• Track licences, permits and certificates needed to open with HQ and the owner.
• Support HQ with on-site rollout of systems (PMS, POS, access control).
• Write and implement opening SOPs with department heads; plan and run opening training and dry runs.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of the opening team; report progress weekly to HQ.
• Hand over a stable operation, with documented processes and supplier contracts, by assignment end.
