Version 1 in Dublin is seeking a Power BI Consultant to analyse complex datasets and deliver data-informed insights. You will develop interactive dashboards, conduct statistical analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to support research initiatives and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience using Power BI including Power Query and DAX.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation and analysis.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data (tabular, text, geospatial).
• Experience connecting Power BI to Azure SQL, Data Lake, APIs and SharePoint.
• Ability to analyse complex datasets and communicate findings clearly.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy; ability to work independently and in teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's in relevant field; Power BI delivery experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).

Responsibilities

• Collect, cleanse and analyse large datasets from diverse sources.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Create reports that inform data-informed decision making.
• Support data modelling, reporting and self-service analytics best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
