Zusammenfassung

Glantech staffing is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor for a client in Co. Cavan.

The role provides commercial QS support to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and management, assisting with the financial and commercial management of projects, including measurement, cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, contract administration and reporting. The candidate will have 1–3 years' experience, hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, and be proficient with Bluebeam

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years’ experience in a junior QS role.
• Third level degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Basic proficiency with take-off software such as Bluebeam or Revit.
• Full driving license for site visits.
• Excellent communication and numerical skills.

Aufgaben

• Measurement and take-offs: assist in measuring quantities from drawings.
• Cost tracking: monitor live project costs, invoices, changes and monthly expenditure vs budgets.
• Assist with final accounts and close-out.
• Procurement and subcontractor management: issue information and build quotes/comparison sheets.
• Project coordination: liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to communicate commercial information.
• Contract administration: assist with project contracts and documentation.
• Document control: maintain drawings, specs, quotations and valuations.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, escalating where needed.
• Undertake other duties as required.
