Job summary

EHS International is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to support health, safety, environmental and quality standards across projects in Ireland. The role involves taking ownership of site safety initiatives and advising project teams on EHS compliance to promote a positive safety culture.

You will work with project managers, engineers and site personnel to ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with legislation and company standards, including risk management, inspections, investigations and

Qualifications

• Qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, SHEQ or related discipline.
• Experience as an EHS Advisor or similar role.
• Good knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
• Experience performing site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Willingness to travel between project sites and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and maintain health and safety policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing controls.
• Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and codes of practice.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS records, inspection reports, incident logs and corrective action registers.
• Support COSHH documentation and environmental/quality management initiatives.
