Job summary

Care Connect Group in Ireland is seeking Rapid Response Support Workers to provide urgent, person-centred care in the community across Killarney and Kenmare. You will respond quickly to referrals, deliver high-quality care, and support individuals to remain safely at home.

This role requires flexibility for shift work, driving, and travel between service users. You will work closely with nurses, social workers and GPs, follow safeguarding procedures, and maintain accurate care records while

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care.
• Up to date Moving and Handling.
• Compassionate, caring and professional approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to use electronic care recording systems.
• Understanding safeguarding adults and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to urgent care referrals across the service area.
• Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
• Assist with hygiene, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Support nutrition, hydration and meal preparation.
• Prompt with medication where authorised.
• Maintain and update electronic care records and reports.
• Liaise with nurses, social workers, GPs and emergency services as needed.
• Travel between service users within the geographical area.
