Job summary

SSE Renewables is seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk management for a major offshore wind capital project. You will own the project risk approach, including QCRA and QSRA activities, and work with Project Services and leadership to drive risk-informed decisions.

You will influence outcomes across multiple work packages, contractors and stakeholders, delivering insights to protect and enhance the project business case while providing timely risk reporting and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the risk management function in a major project environment.
• Understanding how risks and opportunities impact the project business case.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of complex project information for senior management.
• Experience running quantitative risk analysis models and presenting outputs clearly.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to project leadership and be part of decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement consistent Project Risk Management standards, tools and processes.
• Lead quantitative risk analysis (QCRA) and schedule risk analysis (QSRA) to define contingency requirements.
• Identify and implement risk mitigation strategies with project teams.
• Ensure alignment with the Project Business Case and provide concise risk updates to leadership.
• Engage with Project and Executive leadership and key external stakeholders.
