Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland seeks an Offshore Substation Lead Engineer to steer the OSS package from FEED through to handover on a major offshore wind project. The role requires technical leadership across electrical, structural, and marine disciplines, with strong interfaces to onshore and offshore teams.

You will manage multi-disciplinary delivery, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning activities within a hybrid working

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Structural engineering required.
• Chartership and Safe Pass are required.
• Experience with offshore substations and HV systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as engineering lead for OSS package through FEED, detailed design, fabrication, installation and handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary OSS disciplines and interfaces across electrical, structural, marine and mechanical.
• Ensure OSS designs are safe, reliable, operable, maintainable and compliant with standards.
• Oversee engineering deliverables and contractor performance across project lifecycle.
• Support procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning activities.
