Job summary

Logiskills in Dublin North is seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder to join our busy Ocean Department. You will manage and coordinate ocean freight operations, track shipments, prepare documentation, and arrange customs clearance to ensure on-time delivery of cargo.

The role requires knowledge of international shipping regulations, proficiency with CargoWise, Thyme-IT for customs clearance, strong organization, attention to detail, and clear communication with internal and external

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean freight operations and knowledge of international shipping regulations.
• Proficiency in CargoWise freight management system and working knowledge of Customs Clearance via Thyme-IT.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Title: Ocean Freight Forwarder

Location: Dublin North

Terms: Full-time permanent, office-based, Mon-Fri, normal hours

Package: €40-55k + Benefits

Long-established multinational logistics group now seek an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder. Working as part of a busy Ocean Department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating ocean freight operations, shipment tracking, documentation preparation, arranging customs clearance and ensuring timely delivery of cargo.

Key Requirements;

• Experience in ocean freight operations and knowledge of international shipping regulations
• Proficiency in using CargoWise freight management system and working knowledge of Customs Clearance via Thyme-IT
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation preparation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
