Job summary

PE Global Healthcare (Ireland) is assisting to recruit an experienced CNM2 for a residential service in Cork. The CNM2 will provide clinical oversight, lead a large team, and ensure HIQA standards are met. You will work with a management team to implement policies and support best care for adults with disabilities.

The role requires management experience, a registered nurse with NMBI, and a commitment to high-quality, compliant patient care. A full driving licence is also required.

Qualifications

• RGN NMBI registered Nurse.
• 5 years post-registration experience.
• Recognised Management Qualification.
• 3 years Management Experience.
• 3 years experience working with people with disabilities.
• Full Driver's Licence with access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice and to deliver clinical interventions when required.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to Nursing, Social Care and Care Support staff in the provision of clinical and care support services.
• Ensure all records and documentation are kept up to date in relation to service owners and staff, ensuring HIQA compliance.
• Ensure centre is compliant with HIQA standards and maintain HIQA registration.
• Practice nursing according to Professional Clinical Guidelines, National and HSE guidelines, local policies and current legislation.
• Participate in local, regional and national teams within Enable Ireland as appropriate, communicating with other team members.
• Collaborate with service owners, family, carers and other staff in treatment.

PE Global Healthcare are delighted to assist their client to recruit for an experienced CNM2 for a residential service in Cork. The CNM 2 will be responsible for the clinical oversight within a large team delivering care and support to adults with disabilities. This will involve working with and being supported by a management team to ensure compliance with HIQA standards, implementation of policies and procedures and supporting best care and practice in disability services.

The location of the post is Ladysbridge Co Cork

Duties

• The applicant will need to provide strong leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice and to deliver clinical interventions when required.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to Nursing, Social Care and Care Support staff in the provision of clinical and care support services.
• Ensure all relevant records and documentation are kept appropriately and up to date in relation to service owners and staff in particular ensuring compliance with record keeping in line with legislation and HIQA requirements.
• Ensure that the centre is compliant with all standards as laid down by HIQA and be responsible for maintaining HIQA registration.
• The CNM2 will practice nursing according to Professional Clinical Guidelines National and Area Health Service Executive (HSE guidelines), local policies, protocols, guidelines and current legislation
• Participate in local, regional and national teams within Enable Ireland as appropriate, communicating and working in co-operation with other team members.

Candidate Requirements

• Salary Scale: €59,410 to €70,645 pro rata per annum.
