Nazareth House Sligo is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead the day-to-day management and clinical governance of a 70-bed facility in Sligo. You will oversee resident care, staff development, and regulatory compliance under HIQA standards, reporting to the Director of Nursing and Chief Clinical Officer.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to person-centred care in a diverse, supportive team environment within Nazareth House Nursing Home.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMBI registration.
• Minimum 3 years in a management role in aged care.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role and operations.
• Recruit, develop and supervise staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure delivery of person-centred care aligned with HIQA standards and regulations.
