Job summary

EFOR seeks an NPI Process Engineer in Ireland to drive new product introductions from concept to high-volume production. You will lead cross-functional teams across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of process/manufacturing engineering experience, preferably with NPI.
• Proficiency in CAD, process mapping, DFMEA, SPC, DOE, and root cause analysis tools.
• Strong communication, project management, and leadership abilities.
• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage NPI projects, coordinating cross-functional teams for timely and successful product launches.
• Design, develop, and validate new manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Generate and maintain process documentation including work instructions, process flow diagrams, FMEAs, and control plans.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams to review product designs for manufacturability and assembly and provide feedback for improvement.
• Support the transition of products from pilot to high-volume production, identifying and mitigating risks early.
• Identify root causes of process or assembly issues during launch and early production, implementing corrective actions.
• Work with suppliers on qualification of new materials, components, tooling, and process capabilities.
• Train production operators and technicians on new processes and equipment.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to optimispe processes and reduce waste.
• Ensure all processes adhere to company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
