Job summary

Barden is supporting our global biotechnology client in their search for an NPI Manufacturing Technologist on a 12-month interim contract at their Biologics Drug Substance facility. The role provides technical support across upstream and downstream operations, delivering NPI and technology transfer initiatives within a highly regulated environment.

The successful candidate will act as a technical SME, leading troubleshooting, supporting CAPAs and change controls, and driving process improvements

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in Manufacturing Operations or related roles in a biopharma or regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of biological manufacturing and GMP environments.
Experience with NPI, technology transfer, and capacity expansion projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and support NPI initiatives, technology transfers and process improvements.
Provide SME support across upstream and downstream manufacturing operations.
Troubleshoot process, equipment, automation and operational issues in real time.
Support equipment qualification, validation activities and CAPEX/OPEX projects.
Identify opportunities for safety, quality, throughput and cost improvements.
