Job summary

Boyne Valley Group is seeking an experienced NPD Co-Ordinator to support the Household team in delivering end-to-end NPD projects. You will manage the project list, timelines, and cross-functional inputs to ensure concepts to launch meet target dates.

Responsibilities include pipeline coordination, stage-gate governance, and maintaining Masters data while coordinating packaging, trials and launch support across departments. Strong Excel skills and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years’ experience coordinating projects in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment (NPD/Innovation experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to build and manage project plans/critical paths and stage-gate deliverables.
  • Strong attention to detail when handling product specifications and master data.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communicator with experience capturing minutes and driving follow-ups to closure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate stage-gate briefs, feasibility inputs, costings, timelines, and risks.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment across Marketing/Commercial, Packaging, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Set up item codes and manage product master data with suppliers.
  • Coordinate packaging briefs, artwork rounds and approvals with Marketing/QA.
  • Organise samples for internal/customer review and support factory trials.
  • Assist launch planning with tools, forecasting, decks and POS availability.
  • Drive continuous improvement of templates and trackers.

Boyne Valley Group, a leader in the FMCG sector for over 60 years, is seeking an experienced NPD Co-Ordinator to join our Household team. Overview

This role will sit within the Household Commercial function to support the end-to-end delivery of NPD Household projects across the business by managing the project list, coordinating timelines and supporting cross-functional inputs ensuring projects move smoothly and efficiently from concept to launch to meet agreed business target launch dates.

  • NPD pipeline co-ordination: Working closely with commercial and marketing teams to build out the NPD pipeline; ensuring alignment on prioritisation with key stakeholders in the business.
  • Project co-ordination: Build and maintain NPD critical path, actions log, organise project meetings, circulate agendas, capture minutes, and drive follow-ups to closure.
  • Stage-gate governance: Coordinate project briefs and business case inputs (brief completeness, feasibility inputs, costings, timelines, risks) and ensure required approvals received prior to proceeding to next stage.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Act as day-to‑day point of contact and support to ensure project delivery and timelines achieved across Marketing/Commercial, Packaging, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, QA/Technical and Finance
  • Specifications & master data: Set-up of item codes and ensure all necessary information is received from suppliers.
  • Artwork & packaging workflow: Working with Marketing and QA/technical teams to coordinate packaging briefs, artwork rounds, and approvals.
  • Samples & trials: Organise samples for internal/customer review; support factory trials, capture outcomes and ensure learnings are reflected in final specs/SOPs.
  • Launch support planning: Supporting the National Accounts and Field Sales teams to ensure they have all the necessary tools (co-ordinate range review dates, forecasting, retailer sell-in decks, samples, POS availability etc.)
  • Continuous improvement: Improve templates, trackers and ways of working
Experience & Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years’ experience coordinating projects in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or a similar fast‑paced environment (NPD/Innovation experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to build and manage project plans/critical paths, action logs, and stage‑gate deliverables to meet target launch dates.
  • Comfortable coordinating product specifications and master data (e.g., item set‑up, pack formats, supplier details) with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear, confident communicator with experience preparing meeting agendas, capturing minutes, and driving follow‑ups to closure.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with project trackers/tools is an advantage.
  • Flexible and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to support on‑site trials/samples as required.
