Job summary

Strong Roots in the United Kingdom seeks a seasoned Senior NPD Manager to drive our veg-forward product strategy from concept to shelf across international markets. You will own end-to-end innovation, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain and external partners to deliver standout launches with pace and precision.

With 8+ years in FMCG food development and a degree in Food Science or related field, you will showcase scale-up expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to energise

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in FMCG food product development and innovation.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end NPD launches across retail and/or foodservice.
• Degree in Food Science, Food Manufacturing or related field.
• Strong technical expertise in food manufacturing processes, product scale‑up and commercialisation.
• Hands-on product development experience from concept through to full production rollout.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end NPD pipeline across multiple projects and markets.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain and commercial teams to identify opportunities.
• Lead the innovation pipeline from brief to launch within cost and quality targets.
• Present product details and updates to senior stakeholders with clarity.
• Mentor and develop members of the Product Development team.
• Build strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to unlock opportunities.
• Lead factory trials, scale-up activities and launch readiness.
