Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc in Ireland is seeking a Night Supervisor to ensure smooth overnight operations and the highest level of customer service across our properties. You will manage guest relations, health and safety tasks, and coordinate front desk activities during the night shift.

Your role includes running the night audit report, supervising the night porter, coordinating Food & Beverage service after hours, and ensuring rooms and meeting spaces are prepared to standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel night operations or reception roles.
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and delegation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night and to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Guest relations.
• Responsible for overall health & safety at night, including fire walks, security checks, and any other relevant health & safety duties, e.g. first aid.
• Performed front Office duties, including running the night audit report and checking and check-out guests.
• Supervising the night porter.
• Food & Beverage service at night.
• Ensuring meeting rooms are set to the correct standard.
• Contribute to the efficient running of the hotel.

Your Job:

What You Will Need:

• Previous Nights or hotel reception experience is essential.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a customer/guest-facing position.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Opera would be an advantage.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.
• A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
• The ability to work on their initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team
