Job summary

STL Logistics & Warehousing in Ireland (Limerick) is seeking an Warehouse Picker for evening and night shifts to locate, select, and prepare goods for shipment. You will contribute to inventory accuracy, order processing speed, and customer satisfaction.

Shifts run 16:00–00:00 or 00:00–08:00, with a focus on safe handling and efficient picking using RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System. Prioritise accuracy, pace, and safety in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning hardware.
• Attention to detail to match product codes, SKUs, and quantities.
• Basic numeracy to count items accurately.
• Time management to meet shipping deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Order Retrieval: Locate and pick products using paper pick lists, RF scanners.
• Quality Control: Inspect items for damage, defects, or incorrect labelling during the picking process.
• Inventory Management: Report stock discrepancies, low inventory levels, or misplaced items to supervisors.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand trucks, or order pickers (ride-on forklifts).
• Target Management: Meet daily picking quotas, speed metrics, and accuracy benchmarks.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, PPE requirements and lifting techniques.
