Job summary

Exertis (UK) Ltd. is seeking a warehouse operative to maintain accurate stock levels, pick and pack orders for next-day delivery, and conduct cycle counts as required.

You will operate a range of warehouse machinery, check orders, receive goods in, and ensure dispatch in line with SOPs and EHS guidelines. The role requires attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a service environment.
• Observant, good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• A forklift licence for reach truck is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Warehouse machinery to pick orders for dispatch.
• Accurate order checking, picking, packing and dispatch of goods as per procedure.
• Goods inwards, checking, sorting and put-away of products received.
• General housekeeping to ensure stock is stored in a safe and clean environment.
• Storage bin consolidation, stock taking and regular cycle counting.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, assisting with issues and queries.
• Complete all documentation accurately and ensure tasks are in compliance with procedures, SOPs and company/EHS requirements.
• Participate in Cross-Functional teams as necessary.
