Job summary

OhioHealth in Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care in the Labor and Delivery Unit 1 across the continuum of care. The RN is accountable for nursing practice, delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs, and works within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include initiating assessments, planning and implementing care, evaluating outcomes, and contributing to process improvement to achieve clinical quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or equivalent.
• Current RN license in good standing; multi-state compact state preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/diagnosis and ongoing health status assessment.
• Planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Participation in process improvement to improve clinical quality and efficiency.
• Leadership in care coordination and teamwork.
• Operations responsibilities within the unit.
