Job summary

McWilliam Park Hotel is seeking a diligent Night Porter to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the premises overnight. You will attend team briefings, support guest arrivals, and liaise with other departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Food and Beverage experience is an advantage.
• Strong commercial and business knowledge is an advantage.
• Resilient and capable of working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily team briefings and receive important information about the night ahead.
• Perform periodical fire walks and security walks to ensure safety and security.
• Report safety or maintenance issues to stakeholders, including emergencies in real time.
• Set up meeting or function rooms for the following day.
• Deep clean public areas as required.
• Deep clean staff facilities as required.
• Assist guests with early check outs and late check-ins per SOPs.
• Perform night audit if requested by management.
• Assist in other ad hoc duties, such as cleaning of outlets or function areas.
