Job summary

O’Donoghue Ring Collection is hiring a Night Porter for the Killarney Towers Hotel in Killarney, Co. Kerry. The role runs on night shifts from 10.00pm to 07.00am (or 11.00pm to 08.00am) and is full-time on-site.

Responsibilities include security checks, wake-up calls, porterage, and guest inquiries, with an opportunity to assist in restaurant/bar areas when needed. Prior hotel experience and fluency in English are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position in a hotel environment would be beneficial.
• Fluent in the English language is essential.
• Legal right to work in Ireland.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Night Porter to join our team at the Killarney Towers Hotel, reporting to the Hotel Manager. The position is full-time, working shifts from 10.00pm - 07.00 am and 11.00pm - 08.00am.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, staff and visitors and that the safe environment is maintained at all times.
• Carry out security checks of the entire hotel building on a regular basis.
• Schedule and manage customer wake-up calls.
• Manage porterage when required.
• Deal with the front desk and guest inquiries.
• Assist in the restaurant/bar/lounge when and if required.

About you:

• Experience in a similar position in a hotel environment would be beneficial.
• Fluent in the English language is essential.
• Legal right to work in Ireland.
