Job summary

O'Callaghan Collection in Dublin is seeking a Night Security/Guest Services team member to monitor premises, assist late-arriving guests and ensure a safe, welcoming environment across its Dublin hotels.

You will conduct routine checks, manage incidents, and coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams during night shifts. A strong focus on guest care, safety protocols, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Provide superb guest service and have excellent people skills.
• Excellent attention to detail in delivering customer care standards.
• Acknowledge the pivotal purpose of health and safety protocols in a hotel environment.
• Be available for early starts, late finishes, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Security and Surveillance: Monitor the premises during the night to ensure safety of guests, staff and property.
• Guest Assistance: Assist late-arriving guests, handle inquiries and respond to needs during night hours.
• Property Maintenance: Check HVAC and report issues to maintenance for prompt resolution.
• Communication and Reporting: Submit detailed shift reports to management summarising incidents and activities.

Role information:

• Security and Surveillance: Monitor the premises during the night to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property. Conduct regular patrols of all hotel areas, including the lobby, corridors, and external grounds.


• Guest Assistance: Provide assistance to late-arriving guests, including check-in procedures, handling inquiries, and addressing any immediate needs or concerns they may have. Serve as a point of contact for guests requiring assistance during non-business hours.


• Property Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the building systems, ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are functioning properly. Report any maintenance issues, such as leaks or malfunctions, to the maintenance team for prompt resolution.


• Communication and Reporting: Maintain effective communication with the front desk and other relevant departments by providing updates on any incidents or noteworthy activities during the night shift. Compile and submit detailed shift reports for the management team, summarizing any incidents, guest interactions, or maintenance issues encountered during the shift.

Requirements:
