Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to oversee operations during the night shift and maintain exceptional guest service. The role includes assisting with night audits, front desk duties, and coordinating with Night Porters to ensure smooth nightly operations.

You will contribute to health and safety standards, support guest inquiries, and help develop the Night team while delivering a high standard of hospitality across all Dalata properties.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a similar night or reception role
• Excellent knowledge of the hotel business
• Previous hospitality experience is essential
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Opera
• Knowledge of Brilliant Front Office System

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during night shifts and deliver the highest level of customer service
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
• Maintain health and safety standards at night, including fire walks and security checks
• Perform front office duties, assist with night audit reports and guest check-in/check-out
• Collaborate with Night Porters and oversee their nightly tasks
• Provide food and beverage service to guests during night hours
• Support the team in achieving goals through audits and quality evaluations
• Aid in developing the Night team for career advancement
• Contribute to strategic hotel operations based on nightly observations
