Job summary

O'Donoghue Ring Collection is seeking a Night Porter for the Killarney Towers Hotel, reporting to the Hotel Manager. The role is full-time with night shifts from 10:00pm to 07:00am and 11:00pm to 08:00am, based in Killarney.

You will ensure a safe environment, perform security checks of the building, schedule wake-up calls, manage porterage, handle front desk and guest inquiries, and assist in the restaurant/bar when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel environment would be beneficial.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Legal right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, staff and visitors.
• Carry out security checks of the entire hotel building on a regular basis.
• Schedule and manage customer wake-up calls.
• Manage porterage when required.
• Deal with the front desk and guest inquiries.
• Assist in the restaurant/bar/lounge when and if required.
