Barden | B Corp in Dublin city centre is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join on a permanent basis in a role that spans treasury, investment operations, and group reporting. The position sits at the crossroads of treasury and reporting with exposure to senior management and genuine scope to grow.

You will support daily treasury activities, manage cash and reconciliations, prepare weekly cash flow and FX schedules, oversee investment portfolios across brokers, and assist with month-end

Qualifications

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience with treasury exposure.
• FS Audit background with exposure to financial instruments, funds is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large volumes of transactional data.
• Interest in using AI and automation tools to improve finance processes.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day treasury operations including cash management and bank/margin reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly consolidated cash flow report and maintain FX schedules.
• Administer the investment portfolio across multiple brokers (shares, bonds, derivatives, CFDs).
• Prepare weekly portfolio performance analysis.
• Assist with month-end close for treasury/investments and support FP&A, system implementations, and ad hoc group projects.

Our client is a growing, privately owned Irish investment group headquartered in Dublin city centre. They are looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join them on a permanent basis, in a newly created role offering rare breadth across treasury, investment operations, and group reporting.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The group manages a multi-asset portfolio and this role sits where treasury and group reporting meet, with flexible hybrid working, a growing group and exposure to senior management, there is genuine scope to grow and progress.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, and bank and margin account reconciliations;
• Preparing the weekly consolidated cash flow report, and maintaining foreign exchange schedules;
• Administering the investment portfolio across multiple brokers, covering shares, bonds, derivatives, and CFDs;
• Preparing weekly portfolio performance analysis;
• Assisting with month-end close for the treasury and investments, and supporting FP&A, system implementation, and ad hoc projects across the group.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or qualified by experience from a treasury;
• Open to FS Audit trained with exposure to financial instruments, funds;
• Strong Excel skills, and comfort working with large volumes of transactional data;
• An appetite for using AI and automation tools to improve finance processes;
• A strong communicator with senior stakeholders, self-motivated.
