Job summary

TTM Healthcare Solutions is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in Neurology for a leading HSE hospital in West Dublin. The role is a full-time, permanent HSE contract with salary €72,119 - €83,689.

The post requires CORU registration, extensive neurology experience and post-graduate expertise in adult eating, drinking and swallowing disorders, including FEES/videofluoroscopy, to support inpatient and outpatient neurology services.

Qualifications

CORU registration.
5 years post-qualification experience.
3 years experience in progressive and acute adult neurology – including acute or rehabilitation hospital setting.
Post-graduate certification in management of adult eating, drinking and swallowing disorders (mandatory).
Post-graduate competence and proven experience in videofluoroscopy and/or FEES (mandatory).
Recent CPD in adult neurology via post-graduate qualifications or relevant courses.

Responsibilities

Provide expert assessment, diagnosis and management of adults with communication and swallowing disorders in neurology.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary neurology team to coordinate and deliver the service.
Lead evidence-based practice, support decision-making, and contribute to service development, education and quality improvement.
