Job summary

Sun Life in Waterford is offering an internship within the Enterprise Network Services group. The role focuses on first-level support for network issues, working with a team of network professionals across multiple sites, and assisting with asset management and project planning.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Math or Engineering degree with a December 2026 or later graduation date.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in university degree/College diploma in Computer Science, Math or Engineering with a December 2026 or later graduation date.
• Experience in supporting network devices.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols.
• Good verbal and written communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level support for network issues and service requests.
• Serve as a resource on a team of network professionals across multiple sites.
• Analyze and resolve or escalate network issues impacting business functions.
• Follow procedures to service and support networking hardware.
• Assist with asset receiving, tracking, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with internal/external clients to determine project deliverables.
