Job summary

Arista Networks in Ireland invites an energetic Network Engineering student to join our Internship Programme. You will work with a dedicated mentor in the Testing Team to design, test, and validate network features, gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading equipment.

This six-month, full-time onsite internship offers exposure to routing, switching, and cloud networking, plus opportunities to learn Python scripting and Linux basics while contributing to real product testing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in CS/EE/CE or related field.
• Understanding of core networking protocols.
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g. Python).
• Basic understanding of the Linux operating system.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and test network topologies with mentor to validate functionality and scalability.
• Write and execute test plans to verify features and products.
• Identify defects and validate resolutions.
• Conduct test plan reviews to capture customer-centric use cases.
