Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking Graduate Engineers eager to learn world‑leading product development in C/C++, Go and other languages. You will work at the software/hardware boundary on high‑performance networking stacks in a Linux environment.

Contribute to drivers, kernel space, and user space components, while developing agents and tooling for scalable data centers. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and exposure to SDN concepts and modern networking protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python required.
• Experience with Linux embedded systems.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols welcome.

Responsibilities

• Write Linux user space and kernel code for DMA across 64-bit memory spaces.
• Develop software across hardware/software boundary for chips and kernel.
• Implement communication protocols (LLDP, 802.1x, BFD, BGP, OSPF, ISIS).
• Update forwarding state using platform-independent abstractions.
• Create Go and Python configuration management services (NETCONF/RESTCONF).
• Develop routing protocol agents in C/C++ for Fedora Linux embedded environment.
