You will work across the hardware/software boundary on chips and network devices, writing Linux kernel code, Python bootstrapping for hardware, and building software agents for high-performance data center environments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with Linux embedded systems.
• Familiar with networking protocols and routing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux user space and kernel code for DMA and IOMMU.
• Work on the hardware/software boundary for chips and the kernel; optimize ASICs.
• Implement network protocols (LLDP, 802.1x, BGP, OSPF, ISIS).
• Update forwarding state and reconcile Linux routing with switch state.
• Build Go and Python config management services with NETCONF/RESTCONF.
