Job summary

Thomson Keene is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer/Architect in Ireland to design and implement cloud solutions within a major banking cloud enablement program.

The role requires hands-on Azure/Terraform expertise, strong networking and security skills, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift in an enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Azure Cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Terraform / Terraform Enterprise and Infrastructure as Code.
• Azure networking including ExpressRoute, VNets and firewalls.
• Cloud security including Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
• Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• CI/CD and automation using Jenkins, Maven, Ansible or similar.
• Programming/scripting with Python, Java or Go.
• Strong Linux/UNIX knowledge.
• AWS/GCP exposure and cloud certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities
