Job summary

eir business talent is hiring a Full Stack Software Developer in Dublin or Shannon to join a high-performing technology environment delivering modern, business-critical applications for aviation leasing and financial services.

You will contribute across design, build, testing, release and support with a focus on clean code, security and quality-first delivery, working with Architecture, Infrastructure and Digital Operations teams to modernise platforms and enable AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Software Engineer/Developer.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Degree in software engineering, computing or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a self-starter mindset.
• Experience in Agile development is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Interpret business requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Design, develop and support Windows and web-based applications.
• Build maintainable solutions using established best practices.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, BA, Test and Digital Ops teams.
• Support UAT, defect resolution, release management and runbooks.
• Document designs, constraints and code base; manage technical debt.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing technology environment working on modern, business-critical applications that support complex asset, contract, billing and technical operations.

As part of an established development team, you will contribute across design, build, testing, release and support, with a strong emphasis on clean code, maintainability, security and quality-first delivery.

What You Will Be Doing

• Interpret business requirements and translate them into well-designed, scalable software solutions.
• Design, develop and support Windows and web-based applications across a modern enterprise application landscape.
• Build low-maintenance, sustainable solutions using established industry best practice, technologies and standards.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and support integrations across upstream and downstream systems.
• Work closely with Architecture, Infrastructure, Business Analysis, Test and Digital Operations teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing, defect resolution, release management, runbooks and hypercare planning.
• Reduce technical debt where appropriate and accurately document technical designs, constraints and code base.
• Ensure solutions meet organisational, legal, regulatory, security and compliance requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years professional experience in a Software Engineer or Software Developer role.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• A degree in software engineering, computing or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a self-starter mindset.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships across technical and business teams.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent written and spoken English.

Technical Skills

• .NET development including C#, ASP.NET and MVC frameworks.
• React and TypeScript.
• Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code.
• Responsive websites and UI design.
• Back-end C# unit testing.
• Oracle with strong PL/SQL experience and SQL Server.
• RESTful API design, development and consumption.
• AWS or Azure cloud resources.
• Git, branching, merging and Azure DevOps.
• AI development practices such as GitHub Copilot.
• MS Power Platform including Power Automate and Power Apps.
