Job summary

GMC Utilities Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead commercial aspects of large infrastructure projects under NEC 4 Option C. The role requires on-site presence in the Dublin region and strong knowledge of utility and road projects.

You will manage cost planning, forecasting, and risk, lead contract administration, and support tender submissions and pricing strategies. Accommodation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager on large infrastructure projects.
• Deep knowledge of NEC 4 Option C contracts is essential.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects under NEC 4 Option C.
• Overseeing cost planning, forecasting, and value engineering.
• Leading contract administration and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Providing input to strategic decisions affecting commercial performance and risk.
• Supporting tender submissions, subcontractor procurement, and pricing strategies.
• Engaging collaboratively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Managing change control, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Delivering accurate and timely reports on project financials.
