Job summary

Gardiner & Theobald LLP is seeking an experienced Associate Contract Manager to support NEC4 ECC contract administration on major infrastructure projects in Ireland. The role focuses on contract strategy, proactive risk management, and commercial management from pre-contract through close-out.

Based in the Greater Dublin area with hybrid working options, the candidate should have NEC4 ECC expertise, strong negotiation skills and a track record delivering projects on time and within budget while

Qualifications

• NEC4 ECC contract knowledge and experience
• Ability to manage contracts across large infrastructure projects
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in risk management and claims avoidance

Responsibilities

• Administer NEC4 ECC contracts and ensure compliance
• Lead risk management and early warnings; manage compensation events
• Provide commercial guidance on time and cost implications
• Prepare and review programme and performance against NEC4 requirements
• Maintain records and provide management reports
• Mentor and develop contract administration team
