Job summary

Alchelyst seeks a Fund Accounting Associate to own NAV preparation and review for a portfolio of funds, ensuring accuracy and SLA compliance. You will coordinate with auditors and client teams, handling regulatory filings and capital activity with attention to detail.

The role requires a solid fund accounting background, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as the firm scales its private markets platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics is required.
• 4+ years of fund services or financial services experience.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with closed-ended funds and capital activity workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting and securities records for a portfolio of funds with controls across reconciliation, pricing, trading, and income/expense processing.
• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly NAV packages within SLA.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements and footnotes for multiple funds.
• Coordinate with auditors and prepare regulatory filings (Form ADV, Form PF, AIFMD, Form SLT).
• Review daily cash activity, breaks, and investor capital activity before release.
