Alchelyst, a global fund accounting and client solutions partner, seeks a seasoned leader to run a global fund accounting and reporting function across open-ended and closed-ended structures. You will be the senior contact for client controller teams, sign off on management fees, carried interest and investor allocations, and drive process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• 10–15 years in fund accounting, fund administration or audit of alternative investment funds, including at least 4 years leading teams with managers reporting to you.
• Hands-on knowledge of alternative investment funds and how fund documents drive fees, waterfalls, NAV and investor allocations.
• A change-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset: you see a better way of working, lead the team through it.
• Experience with private markets fund accounting and investor reporting tech (FINBOURNE, LemonEdge, Vincillium, BlocRecon, Investran, eFront) and using automation to improve delivery.
• A degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, business or similar; CPA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own client delivery across your portfolio, ensuring NAVs, capital calls, distributions and investor statements are accurate and timely.
• Be the senior contact for clients' controller teams and provide practical accounting guidance.
• Turn fund documents into correct outcomes by signing off on fees, waterfalls and allocations.
• Lead audits and year-end, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisers for clean sign-offs.
• Lead and develop a global team, set priorities, review work and coach managers for the next generation of fund accountants.
• Strengthen controls and standardize processes to support daily NAVs and hybrid vehicles at scale.
• Support onboarding of new funds and client transitions and identify expansion opportunities.
