Job summary

MWeds Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across the central production unit and retail stores in Ireland. You will diagnose faults, replace defective components and support equipment installations to keep operations safe and reliable.

The role requires practical maintenance experience, the ability to work independently across multiple sites, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards. Hours are 39 per week.

Qualifications

• Maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of equipment and facilities.
• Identify faults and perform corrective maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools and maintenance procedures.
• Work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple sites.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Mechanical Engineering studies or relevant maintenance experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities across the central production unit and retail stores.
• Perform routine inspections to identify faults, wear, and maintenance requirements.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out repairs to restore safe and efficient operation.
• Replace defective components and undertake minor mechanical and facility maintenance work as required.
• Support the installation, adjustment, testing and servicing of equipment and machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and report recurring faults or maintenance issues.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Assist daily operations by ensuring facilities and equipment remain operational, safe and reliable.
