Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support plant equipment maintenance across shifts in Munster, Ireland. The role involves executing planned and unplanned maintenance, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective repairs to minimise downtime.

The candidate should have hands-on mechanical/electrical maintenance experience with pumps, motors, grinders and milling machines, and be comfortable working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics and electrics

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain spare parts and tools to ensure timely maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair equipment per PM schedules; suggest improvements.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure spare parts are in stock for major process equipment.
• Support Production on shift basis as required.
• Drive continuous improvement of production equipment; implement improvement projects.
• Coordinate with vendors, site contractors and external specialists.
• Maintain safety compliance while performing maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics and service manuals.
