Job summary

Gunn Lennon Fabrications Ltd in Ireland is seeking an experienced machine operator to load raw materials and unload finished parts. You will operate multiple machines, inspect your parts and peers' work, and adjust tooling and offsets to meet tight tolerances.

Maintain cleaning and preventive maintenance routines and follow established QA and safety standards. The role emphasizes accurate measurement, proper tooling setup, and a commitment to a clean, safe work environment in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Proficient in machine operation.
• Loading of raw materials & unloading of completed parts.
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Performs inspections of own parts and co-workers work.
• Follows instructions when selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures.
• Uses measurement tools such as snap gage, digital calipers, micrometres, optical comparator and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts tooling & work offsets.
• Minor editing of current programme.
• Ability to make adjustments to assure dimensions, tolerances and quality of parts.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment including top-off lubricants.
• Cleaning responsibilities includes equipment, chip removal and work area.
• Follows established procedures as well as quality and safety standards.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
