Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Ireland is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our Ennis manufacturing team. You will read blueprints and technical drawings, load materials, and operate CNC machinery to produce components to exact specifications.

You will monitor machine performance, perform adjustments, and inspect parts for conformance while maintaining a safe, clean work area in a dynamic production setting.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Operate CNC machinery and tooling.
• Load raw materials onto machines.
• Mentain and adjust machines to improve output.
• Inspect finished parts and compare with specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Supervise machines and make adjustments for quality and efficiency.
• Inspect and measure finished products against requirements.
• Maintain machines daily for reliable operation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Keep supervisor and QC informed of issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by CNC supervisor.
