MPS Team Lead: Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

Job summary

Controlled Environments Company (CEC) is seeking an MPS Team Lead to head a maintenance planning and scheduling team at our Leixlip site. You will guide and motivate the team to deliver on short-term operational needs and long-term schedules using Maximo and SAP MES.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in maintenance planning, scheduling, and regulatory compliance, with close collaboration across engineering, operations, and client management to ensure excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership and supervisory experience.
• Experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in high-volume manufacturing, semiconductor, or cleanroom environments.
• Proficiency with EAM/CMMS systems (IBM Maximo preferred) and ERP platforms (SAP MES desirable).
• Knowledge of maintenance strategies and work order lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audit support in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, allocate and manage MPS team resources to meet short-term deliverables and long-term targets.
• Lead and supervise MPS scheduling using Maximo (EAM) and SAP MES (ERP).
• Drive regulatory compliance and audit readiness by timely scheduling of PMs.
• Maintain master data integrity in Maximo for local MPS team.
• Identify efficiencies and coordinate with customer department managers.
• Serve as primary POC between MPS team, engineering, maintenance techs, operations and client leadership.
• Facilitate weekly MPS team meetings to review KPIs and upcoming constraints.
• Monitor schedule compliance, backlog and other metrics to meet client goals.
• Coordinate with MRO for spare parts availability.
• Mentor team members and deliver regular performance reviews.
