Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Letterkenny, Ireland, is seeking a Civil, Structural and Architectural professional to join our team on modular building projects for data centres and telecom infrastructure. You will support design, manufacture, installation and delivery of customised solutions working with multidisciplinary teams across the globe.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar engineering or construction role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good understanding of construction documentation, steel structures, and engineering design principles.
• English language proficiency (minimum B2).
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction documentation and detailed design packages.
• Prepare bills of quantities for factory and site execution activities.
• Design and specify secondary steel structures, platforms, supports, bases, roof elements and sheet metal components.
• Produce manufacturing and fabrication documentation.
• Provide engineering oversight during steel structure production.
• Support factory assembly, testing and module integration activities.
• Review designs for constructability and provide technical feedback to project teams.
• Collaborate with project management, sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, testing and construction teams.
• Manage construction administration activities including as-built documentation, FAT procedures, installation manuals, punch list close-out.
• Develop bills of materials and service requirements for project execution.
• Provide technical support during project delivery and post-installation phases.
• Contribute to customer presentations, quotations and pre-sales activities.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and delivery targets.
